Location
The listing gives the address as Maravi Estate, Takamaka. Its map pin puts it about 2.8 km in a straight line from Baie Lazare, about 11 km in a straight line from Seychelles International Airport and about 17 km from Victoria.
The south of Mahé is rural and relaxed, with steep green hills, small bays and long beaches such as Anse Intendance. Facilities are spread out, so most visitors here rely on a car or on their accommodation.

Room types on the listing are Two-Bedroom House. With a single category, what matters most is the unit’s position and outlook, so ask about them. For self-catering, confirm the kitchen equipment and where the nearest shop is.
Facilities at Villa Apartment 1C near Beach
Facilities shown on the listing include beachfront, airport shuttle, free WiFi, free parking and non-smoking rooms. In practice, an airport shuttle is listed, though it is usually arranged and charged separately and parking is listed, which helps if you hire a car.
Trade-offs and what to know
This side of Mahé is quiet and spread out, so a hire car makes a real difference. Self-catering means shopping for groceries, which in Seychelles can be limited outside the larger villages. Conditions on the beaches change between the two monsoon seasons, which is worth checking for your travel dates.
Getting there and getting around
International flights arrive at Seychelles International Airport on the east coast of Mahé. Buses cover most of the island, and hire cars (driving on the left) or taxis give more freedom.
