Silhouette is the third-largest granitic island in Seychelles, lying north-west of Mahé across the bay from Beau Vallon. Most of the island is protected as national park, with steep, forested mountains rising directly from the coast.

Access is by boat or helicopter from Mahé, arranged in advance, and the island has only a small number of places to stay.
