La Digue is a small island close to Praslin, reached by ferry rather than by air. Most visitors get around by bicycle or on foot, and accommodation is dominated by guesthouses and small hotels.
Its most photographed beach, Anse Source d’Argent, lies within L’Union Estate on the west coast and is famous for its sculpted granite boulders. Many travellers visit La Digue as a day trip from Praslin; staying overnight lets you see it before and after the day-trippers.
