South Mahé
The south of Mahé is quieter and greener, with bays such as Anse Intendance, Takamaka and Baie Lazare and accommodation ranging from small guesthouses to resorts in their own coves.
It suits travellers who prefer a secluded base and are happy to drive or arrange transfers.
