Côte d’Or, also called Anse Volbert, is a long, sheltered beach on Praslin’s north-east coast and the island’s main concentration of hotels, guesthouses and restaurants. Boats to the islands offshore, including Curieuse and St Pierre, leave from this coast.
It suits first-time visitors who want a walkable beach base with a choice of places to eat.
