Alphonse is a remote coral atoll south of the Amirantes, best known for its shallow flats, marine life and fly-fishing. The neighbouring atoll of St François lies close by.
Visits are arranged with the island’s accommodation, which also organises the light-aircraft transfer from Mahé.
