Granite rocks and white sand on the coast of Silhouette Island

Silhouette & Other Inner Islands

Silhouette and the smaller inner islands — places where the island itself is the stay, usually reached by boat, helicopter or light aircraft.

Beyond Mahé, Praslin and La Digue, a handful of inner islands are visited mainly by people staying on them. Silhouette, the third-largest granite island, is largely protected as national park. Others, such as Félicité, Frégate, Denis, Bird, North and Cousine, are small islands where access and accommodation are closely tied together.

Because transfers are typically arranged by boat, helicopter or light aircraft, these islands are usually booked as a single block within a wider Seychelles trip. This guide only lists accommodation here when an exact listing exists with an approved booking partner.
