CASA GEM Seychelles is an apartment in Anse Boileau on Mahé. The listing highlights family rooms, free WiFi and free parking. There is 1 room type on the listing.
Best for
A good fit for independent travellers and families who prefer to self-cater. It is a less natural fit for some trips: neither a pool nor beachfront access is among the listed facilities.
Location
The listing gives the address as Anse la Mouche, Mahe. Its map pin puts it about 2.7 km in a straight line from Anse Boileau, about 7 km in a straight line from Seychelles International Airport and about 12 km from Victoria.
West Mahé runs from Port Launay and Port Glaud south through Grand Anse and Anse Boileau to Anse à la Mouche. It is quieter than Beau Vallon, with west-facing bays, sunset views and the Port Launay marine park in the north.
Rooms and style at CASA GEM Seychelles
The rooms listed are Apartment – Split Level. With a single category, what matters most is the unit’s position and outlook, so ask about them. For self-catering, confirm the kitchen equipment and where the nearest shop is.
Facilities at CASA GEM Seychelles
The listing’s main facilities are family rooms, free WiFi, free parking and non-smoking rooms. In practice, parking is listed, which helps if you hire a car.
Trade-offs and what to know
This side of Mahé is quiet and spread out, so a hire car makes a real difference. Self-catering means shopping for groceries, which in Seychelles can be limited outside the larger villages. Seychelles has two broad monsoon seasons, and wind and sea conditions on any given beach change with them.
Getting there and getting around
International flights arrive at Seychelles International Airport on the east coast of Mahé. Buses cover most of the island, and hire cars (driving on the left) or taxis give more freedom.
