Full Day La Digue is a private island day trip based around Curieuse and the islands off Praslin, offered by a local operator and listed on an independent booking platform. The operator gives the length as about 8 hours. Only your own group takes part, so the pace and the stops can usually be agreed with the guide.
This page sets out what the listing confirms, how it fits into a Seychelles itinerary and what to check before you book. Seychelles Island Guide does not run this experience; we describe it from the operator's structured listing and our own knowledge of the islands.
Full Day La Digue: what the listing includes
Everyone meets the operator at the stated starting point; hotel pickup is not part of the listing. The listing includes bottled water, snorkelling equipment, snacks and lunch; anything not named there, such as personal spending, should be treated as extra. At the time of checking, the listing was marked with free cancellation; the current terms on the booking page are the ones that apply. The operator flags the activity as weather dependent, so plans can change at short notice when conditions turn.
Where it takes place: Curieuse and the islands off Praslin
Full Day La Digue takes place in or from Curieuse and the islands off Praslin. Curieuse lies just north of Praslin inside a marine national park and is known for its free-roaming giant tortoises and mangrove boardwalk.
St Pierre, Félicité, Coco and the Sisters are smaller islands within reach of Praslin and La Digue, and boat days often combine several of them with snorkelling stops.

Who it suits
Full Day La Digue suits travellers based on one island who want to see another without changing hotel, and anyone short of time who wants the crossings arranged. As a private booking it also works well for families and small groups who want to travel together.
Planning notes: Full Day La Digue
Sea crossings between the islands can be lively when the trade winds blow, so anyone prone to seasickness should plan ahead. Bring swimwear, reef-safe sun protection, a hat and some cash for small purchases on the islands.
Crossings between the islands are usually smoothest in the transition months around April and October to November; during the south-east trades, roughly May to October, the sea between Mahé and Praslin can be lively.
Before you book
Availability, the current price and the booking itself are handled by the booking platform on behalf of the operator. Check the date, start time, pickup details and cancellation terms on the listing before you pay, and contact the operator through the platform if anything about Full Day La Digue is unclear.
