Set in Anse Kerlan on Praslin, Villas Idea is a villa. Facilities on the listing include airport shuttle, family rooms and free WiFi. It lists 1 room type.
Best for
It suits independent travellers and families who prefer to self-cater and travellers arriving on a domestic flight to Praslin. It is a less natural fit for some trips: neither a pool nor beachfront access is among the listed facilities.
Location
The listing gives the address as Praslin, Anse Kerlan. By its map pin, it is about 4.4 km in a straight line from Grand Anse, Praslin and under 1 km in a straight line from Praslin Island Airport.
West Praslin is the side of the island closest to the airport. Grand Anse is its everyday centre, while the coast road north leads towards Anse Kerlan and Anse Lazio.
Rooms and style at Villas Idea
The listing shows Two-Bedroom Villa. With a single category, what matters most is the unit’s position and outlook, so ask about them. For self-catering, confirm the kitchen equipment and where the nearest shop is.
Facilities at Villas Idea
Facilities shown on the listing include airport shuttle, family rooms, free WiFi, free parking and non-smoking rooms. In practice, an airport shuttle is listed, though it is usually arranged and charged separately and parking is listed, which helps if you hire a car.
Trade-offs and what to know
Praslin’s best-known beaches are spread around the island, so expect to use buses, taxis or a hire car. Self-catering means shopping for groceries, which in Seychelles can be limited outside the larger villages. Conditions on the beaches change between the two monsoon seasons, which is worth checking for your travel dates.
Getting there and getting around
Praslin is reached from Mahé by domestic flight to Praslin Island Airport or by ferry to Baie Ste Anne. On the island, buses, taxis and hire cars are the options.
